Energy Class A++
An almost zero energy building
The decisions we make today lay the foundations of tomorrow and we believe that thinking Lean, Green & Clean should be the starting point in any decisions we make. This is why we use forward-thinking innovative technology to create energy-efficient, high-quality buildings to reduce environmental impact, construction time and costs compared to traditional buildings.
The building has been certified in energy class A++, the highest class in Greece. This, among others, is achieved by the use of photovoltaic panels that produce electricity that is deducted from the energy consumption of each property. As a result electricity bills are enormously reduced.
Buildings with almost zero energy consumption are places with noticeably better living conditions in relation to conventional buildings. In a building with almost zero energy consumption, the needs for air conditioning and heating are limited due to:
- architectural design.
- shell-type thermal insulation that minimizes energy losses.
- energy glazing and frames with a thermal break.
- use of advanced heating and air conditioning systems
- production of hot water with solar systems.
- Energy production for the building from renewable energy sources.
All the above energy A++ class buildings have reduced energy bills compared to other buildings, even those that were built nowadays meeting only the minimum energy efficiency requirements. Their users are almost free from energy costs for as many years as they use them, while at the same time they are not significantly affected by any changes in electricity prices. An average current building like the one you probably have as your residence consumes Primary energy of 250 to 300 KWh/m2 while an A++ class building consumes primary energy around 20 KWh/m2 i.e. Apparently there is an energy saving of 90% compared to a conventional building.
